A Delayed Update!

2013 started and its kind of interesting. 2 weeks ago i came up to a competition on remixing an album. This is my submition for the competition, i have heard some more remixes of the same tune and there are some of them that are preety sick.

The first blog post and the Anti-social media

Let me start this first post with some small introduction about the blog post thing. I decided to start this blog posts since through my  tunes I rarely speak to you and the thing is that I wanted to speak some more but I got some difficulties combining music with direct messages through lyrics/speeches. This blog’s aim is to fill in the gaps that I think it is essential for you to understand the ideology of Nuclear Nation. In future blog I will make sure that I will post the meaning of the name “Nuclear Nation” and the metaphors hidden behind it but for now let’s start with my great escape from 2.0 Anti-social networks.

As you have read it’s not just that I call them anti-social but I also I add the version number. Why am I doing it? Because social networks one upon a time (around 2000) used to be a tool for artists and people to get connected together share thoughts and ideas and then move on with their lives. Some would adopt ideas, some would not but that is not what matters the thing was that once upon a time we didn’t put all of our life or the majority of it in the internet, we were on the internet to do what we had to do and then move forward. But nowadays this is not possible the new era of social network dictates we lose our privacy, become a virtual real-time persona and be forced sometimes to look inside the brains of others and vise versa. Not to mention that in a place where you don’t buy anything but some get billions you might become their product. I’m not here to judge you but rather give you an alternative view, as I said above you can walk away or not. You can stop this exposure not only by escaping from such networks but also by putting yourself into a discipline on how to behave online so you’ve got a choice on how to act in case you follow any of my words.

With that in mind and also the risk of losing many prospective and current listeners to my tune through the internet I decided to erase myself from any anti-social network that does the things described above. We have to go back in some perspectives of our lives and sometimes radical changes are needed in order to become a little bit more of what our nature is. Close your computer, take your favorite music on your mp3 player, get some booze or any drug that you may enjoy, call your friends and go out to party and remember not to become a consumer. As for me i'm planning on erasing my facebook pages and profiles as from 20/01/13.

I’m closing this post with some words that can be used as food for your mind, taken from a random lecture on consumer behavior I had on the fall of 2012. Think about them, talk to your friends and even post me a comment and tell me how you think/feel about it.

2013 has started and NN machines are fucking marching! Let's start with the participation on the 500th net-release of Deadknife Records. 2012 A NN Review

2012 Has been a hell of a year it started just a few days before the end of 2011 with the live appearance in Athens (Greece). A live milestone for the project since it was the last live deticated to the ambient/noise state of NN. With the introduction of 2012 NN turnt fully the noise and rythm state.

A lot of people have come and many have departed from the company of NN, and all the tunes that have come out during this period are deticated to all those people but most importantly to those that i consider family, you know who you are.

Further on by mid 2012 i decided to close down my record label Hesperus Records, the reasons of doing so were simply that i needed more time for my self since it was taking a lot of hours of my day away. In 2013 am aiming in participating at at least one live event abroad (since my country was never interested in listenning to my stuff) and in addition i m hoping for some interesting collaborations to come out and possibly a new mini-album.

Lastly, fuck all conspirancies, fuck your government , fuck all systems! Change your self and then turn to others! The revollution shall not be televised!
